Video Producer for Tablecross Inc. (株式会社テーブルクロス) & byFood.com (2024-2025)
As a solo, full-time producer with byFood, I worked to create and publish new videos once (oftentimes twice) a week, primarily with host and talent Shizuka Anderson and with the goal of working to introduce Japanese food and food culture, trending and bookable restaurants, travel destinations, notable brands and knowledgeable influencers here in Japan.
Together with our multicultural, multilingual team, of camera people, editors and talent, I handled pre- and post production of original and client-sponsored content --- including work with Asahi Beer, JTB, Hakkaisan, Japan's Agriculture Ministry, and municipalities like Fukuoka, Kitakyushu, and Sano, Tochigi. Despite being a smaller YouTube channel, my daily work included research, scheduling, proposals, filming permissions, script writing, call sheet creation, talent management, translation and subtitling, copywriting, editor feedback, YouTube backend management, and thumbnail coordination, as well as on-set direction and stakeholder/client communications and engagement.
